This seminar explores how doula support influences maternal emotional wellbeing across pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

Our panel of doulas, with over 35 years of combined experience, will describe how the supportive emotional presence, advocacy, and relationship-based care can reduce stress, strengthen maternal confidence, and buffer risk for mental health challenges, strengthen maternal outcomes and support the developing relationship with their baby.

The session will also highlight practical strategies doulas and collaborating professionals can use to promote protective factors that support maternal wellbeing and healthy early relationships.

Cost: $25.00 for ILAIMH members and $35.00 for non-members
